A few things buyers ask us.
What does "approval" actually involve?
We verify you're a legitimate retail business. Usually a quick check of your resale certificate, business address, and store URL. We're not gatekeeping; we just want to make sure our wholesale catalog goes to actual shops, not arbitrage flippers.
Can I see prices before approval?
Wholesale prices live behind the login. Partly contractual with our retail price floor (MAP), partly because pricing depends on your account tier. Our marketplace partners (Faire, Mable) show their commission-inclusive pricing in the meantime.
What if I'm a distributor or large account?
Note that on your application. We route distributor applications to a different team and pricing tier. Email wholesale@buttermints.com with details and we'll fast-track you.
Is there a minimum order?
Direct accounts: 1 case minimum (12 pouches, 2 SKUs allowed). Marketplaces have their own minimums (Faire's is generous; Mable's varies by category).
Can I split this email into two?
If you've got a separate buyer and accounting contact, just let us know in the approval email reply. We'll set up your account with both.
